Workers Comp
- The Louisiana workers‘ compensation law requires employers to carry insurance for every employee.Workers’ compensation insurance covers the cost of medical treatment when an employee is injured on the job or develops an occupational disease. It also provides partial lost wages during the injured employee’s recovery.
Personal Injury
- Personal injury rules apply in situations where someone acts in a negligent manner, and that carelessness causes harm to another person. Examples include car accidents, slip and fall incidents, and medical malpractice, among other types of cases.
